The studio is located on the south-east coast of England between Hastings and Eastbourne in the charming town of Bexhill-on-sea. The full address is 14 Eversley Road, Bexhill-on-sea, TN40 1EU, England.
We are just off the main high street, a stone's throw from the sea! The studio is actually on the corner of Eversley Road and St.Leonards Road, right above the lovely Crafty Norman Brasserie. Our entrance is located around the back of the Crafty Norman, on your way up Eversley Road: please hit the buzzer to the left to enter.
Ah, a fun one! You have a few options. If you are having a small tattoo where your appointment will take less than two hours, then you can park for free on the streets around the studio. (Please be aware, some streets are permit only and the wardens around the area are very on the ball!) Otherwise you have three options:
Park on Endwell Road, where parking costs 80p an hour.
Park within Eversley Road Car park, where parking costs around £6 per day.
Drive outside of the main centre of Bexhill and walk in.
Try to make sure you are in the best state possible before your appointment. This means getting a good night’s sleep the night before, avoiding alcohol, staying well hydrated and eating a good meal prior to your appointment. If you have not eaten before your appointment, you will be asked to go and get some grub.
If there is any chance you are lucky enough to look under 25, please bring photo ID with you or we will not be able to tattoo.
We currently have no facilities for taking card payments in the studio. You can pay by PayPal, bank transfer or please bring cash.
We have facilities for making tea and coffee and always offer dairy alternatives, and there are almost always some biscuits knocking around! But if you want any other snacks/drinks/food during your session, please do bring them with you. There are also many shops and cafes within a short distance of the studio.
Finally, although we do our best, there is always a possibility that some ink may get on your clothing during the tattoo process. So, please avoid light coloured clothing, anything expensive or that you dearly love and do not want to get ruined!
Please also consider the place you are getting tattooed and wear appropriate and comfortable clothing! You are more than welcome to bring a change of clothes to get into. Comfort is key.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring a friend if you so desire, it’s always nice to meet new people and if it adds to your comfort, that’s great. We do ask kindly however, that if you wish to bring more than one friend, that you ask your artist - sometimes our building can get full and we are very precious over the calmness of the building, being mindful of all those within.
Whilst we pride ourself on being as accessible as possible, our building is not so thoughtful. There are two flights of stairs up to the main reception room which means this space is not plausible for mobility scooters or wheelchair users. If you are a wheelchair user, please contact your artist directly and they will arrange a more suitable space for your tattoo.
We have various treatment beds which take at least 200kg of weight, if you need a bed that takes more weight than this, please contact your artist and we will make one available. We also have a seated bed which is suitable for tattooing some areas of the body in more comfortable positions. Please discuss with your artist if you have any preferences around positioning and we will always do our best to accommodate you.
No. If you’re feeling sick please stay home. Our artists value their health and the health of other clients within the studio so please consider that. If you are unwell we will reschedule your appointment and give you priority to come in as soon as you are feeling better.
The same goes with antibiotics. The use of antibiotics before or during the healing stage can affect the integrity of your tattoo and it is not worth taking the risk, when waiting will guarantee a much better experience.
On request we can accommodate this. Our main tattooing space is a room large enough for two artists. Often, there will be two of us working at the same time, and we encourage a feeling of respect, warmth and if desired, conversation. In moments where space is needed, we can offer dividers. If you specifically desire a private studio room, please enquire with your artist and they will find a time when this is available.
Yes! We also use ink that is comprised of organic pigments, free of animal by-products. It’s also never tested on animals. We make sure that all of our equipment is vegan-friendly and always have non-dairy milks in the studio to make sure you can enjoy a brew. Additionally, all of our aftercare products are 100% vegan.
All of our artists take deposits and reserve the right to keep your deposit if you cancel. We will always endeavour to fit you in and re-book you if you cancel and in most circumstances, if cancellation is not a regular occurrence or within a short timeframe, we will honour the deposit forward.
