The Candle Orchard is built on creativity, care, and connection. We are a community-focused tattoo studio rooted in Bexhill-on-Sea, shaped by the people who live here and the relationships we build through our work.

We believe tattooing and art should feel welcoming, accessible, and personal. Our studio is intentionally calm, exceptionally clean, and respectful. It is a space designed to help people feel at ease, whether it is their first tattoo or one of many. We value clear communication, consent, and care at every stage of the process.

We do not aspire to be rock and roll artists or exclusive gatekeepers. We are artists for everyday people who love art, tattoos, and thoughtful mark-making. Our work is about connection rather than bravado, and about creating meaningful experiences rather than intimidating ones.

Community sits at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate our links to Bexhill and the surrounding area, and we actively support local creative life through collaboration, events, and shared projects. The studio regularly opens its doors as a gallery and creative space, and we are always open to working with other artists, makers, and organisers whose values align with ours.
